So what exactly is an "American novel"? Do you mean English instead of Aleut, French, Spanish, etc., and if yes, why not simply say so in the titles for this zoo? Or is this about the geo location of the author at the time of their birth? At the time of their writing the given novel? Or the location of the first publisher? And which America are we talking about, the world agrees that there can be only one continent, geology violently disagrees, folks in America count two (North and South, dividing the middle at random borders), and enwiki often mumbles America when it actually means the US of A as defined by the WASP. –84.46.53.216 (talk) 19:31, 19 May 2019 (UTC)Reply
