Absolutely not. "Pacifists" and "Anti-war activists" may be similar, but they're very much not the same thing, as a pacifist might not be an anti-war activist as well, and a merge would do a disservice to both. SchuminWeb (Talk) 23:15, 11 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
Exactly right - and the reverse is true. An anti-war activist might not be a pacifist. For instance I work with a group that promotes peace in the Middle East, actively seeking conflict resolution and war avoidance. Definately an anti-war group. But many members of this group are military people and are most certainly not pacifists. Second Foundation19:32, 11 August 2007 (UTC)Reply
