Would it be possible for people adding articles to this category, to instead add them to the most suitable sub-category? They can belong to more than one category, for example, Natasha Stott-Despoja may belong to Category:Australian Democrats politicians and Category:South Australian people. Eventually this page will become unreadable due to the sheer number of names listed. I'm under the impression that it will be possible to easily get a list of a category and all sub-categories, so having all the Australian people in different sub-categories won't be a problem. Can we get a definition on "Australian people"? Is it necessary to be a citizen? To be born here? To live a certain proportion of one's life here? I ask particularly because I have linked the colonial businessman Edward Wollstonecraft to this category, but he was of course an Englishman and didn't move to Australia until his 30s. --Skud02:06, 18 July 2005 (UTC)Reply
