Can these 138 (currently) articles be further broken down into sub-tribes, as in Category:Pashtun tribes?

edit

I've been breaking out Category:Pashtun tribes, and sub-categorized all but 50 of what was once 200 articles. Can someone with some knowledge of Baloch tribal structure do the same here? Maybe start with an article showing the "family tree" of Baloch tribes, akin to the one in the article Pashtun tribes? Stability Information East 2 (talk) 10:59, 22 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

== Add a missing tribe name of Baloch. Bhand(Sub tribe of Dombki) ==

An agricultural tribe living in many numbers but spoiled at different areas of Balochistan and Sindh. Bhand Baloch is a sub tribe of Dombki, who were hindus before and its name is derived from Hindi word(بھانڈ) which means quarrel. There main place of origin is Lehri, are living in these areas of Sindh: Dadu, Nawabshah, Bhandi, Hyderabad, Karachi and in Balochistan: Naseerabad, Jaffarabad, Jhal Magsi, Nalient(Kulanch), Gwadar, Pasni. Chota Bhand migrated from Naseerbad inhabited Kulanch area earlier than Bobagr who belonged to Puzzh tribe. Chota Bhand jointly with Gichkis and some other tribes revolted against Oman prince of that time, who forcefuly captured Gwadar city. Bhand Baloch of Nalient area put Meer on their name because of their many lands and cattles, they led their regime there for some decades. Bhand Baloch (talk) 18:03, 25 November 2017 (UTC)Reply

The words Band means stubborn in old Balochi. But after war with Khan of Kalat forces in Kulanch valley people call them clever, because of their war tactics against Kalati forces. That's why people of Makran call them clever. But this words came from old Balochi not from hindi. The Bahand and Band are different. Bahand are quarrel in indian sub continent. But Band is old baloch tribe before Rind and Lashar migration toward Eastern Balochistan. Band is martial race tribe living in Balochistan, Sindh and Punjab. Hudda husband of Banari Rind and brother in law of Mir Chakar Rind was belongs to Band tribe. Band was one of the powerful tribe of their time. Still they have huge land property in Balochistan, Sindh and Punjab. People of Makran called them Mir and Maldar because of Cattle and land. Jamali is also a Band tribe. Some historian said Band tribe is sub clan of Mugheri, Lashari, Domki, Rind and Chandia. Band Baloch speaks Balochi, Sindhi and Saraiki. 92.12.10.40 (talk) 21:53, 29 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
