I have populated this category - at some point it probably needs subcats, e.g. Basque people, Basque sportspeople, Basque politics, Basque cities and towns, Basque culture...
The difficulty is that most autonomous communities of Spain have a category, and this is the equivalent. But it is also right that this contains articles on the French Basque Country, and even Navarre. Should there be separate categories or is it ok for there to be no distinction between the current political divisions and the historical Euskal Herria and wider Basque culture articles? Maybe cat:Basque Autonomous Community and cat:Navarre should be subcategories of both cat:Spain and cat:Basque, while cat:French Basque Country could be a subcat of bot cat:Basque and cat:France, thus removing cat:Basque from cat:Spain.--Erri4a 20:10, 25 Jan 2005 (UTC)
