- I don't think it is appropriate. The source code of certain games has limitions that would make it incompatible with the Open Source Initiative. For example, the Doom source code cannot be legally used in a commercial product without consent from id Software. - Agreed that the two categories represent different things, but Doom is under the GPL so you can use it commercially if you wish, it just has to be re-released under the GPL. I just wanted to point that out. Technopeasant (talk) 22:03, 13 June 2010 (UTC)
