Why only federal parties?

Category:Defunct political parties in the United States does not limit itself to defunct parties at the national/federal level, but includes state-level parties, too. Unless there's a good reason why this would not work for Canada, I propose opening this category up and populating it, with defunct Canadian parties at all levels. 70.53.188.169 (talk) 04:22, 13 October 2008 (UTC)
