«Exarch of Ravenna» was not a religious office! The Exarch was an Eastern Roman government official and had political and military authority - and no relation to religious affairs! Confusion should not arise with religious institutions such as the Bulgarian Exarchy (19th/20th century) etc. Thus the tagging of the articles refering to all those Exarchs as religious biographical stubs is erroneous.
Unless I get any suggestions advising otherwise within the next few days I will change the designations to european history stubs.
I knew there was a problem, but I simply forgot to fix it. I'll try finding 60 stubs relating to the Eastern Roman Empire, so a separate stub can be created. That'll probably be the best solution. Regards --Valentinian10:28, 20 February 2006 (UTC)Reply
