editPropose option 1 and request decision on option 2
1. adding wording to this category such as:
"This category applies to people that have conducted executions on behalf of recognised governments. Please do not list people in other situations such as those in criminal gangs or rebel groups."
My reasoning for this is that words like execution imply legality (as opposed to words like murder which imply illegality). I'd like to get consensus on this one way or the other to stabilise suitable wording.
2. What should happen with regard to: Category:Non-governmental execution type killing. I created this category to accommodate articles such as The Beatles (terrorist cell). I created the category before thinking about option 1 and with the intention of placing it immediately under categories for discussion. The discussion, obviously with options keep, rename or delete, is here. Thanks. Gregkaye ✍♪ 22:26, 25 November 2014 (UTC)
- Comment – Regarding #1, it is good. I would modify to include "terrorist groups or organizations. Regarding #2, this is a no-go. "The Beatles" may have killed people, but such deaths are covered by Category:Terrorism deaths by country. – S. Rich (talk) 04:38, 16 December 2014 (UTC)
