Based on the discussion noted above, the closer suggested to try depopulation of members, but leaving the subcats, per a "near-consensus". Please note any concerns. - jc3709:56, 12 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
I read the result a bit differently. A random depopulation is entirely inappropriate. The articles in this category should be either regrouped into the existing subcategories, where appropriate, at a minimum.
