New subcategory
editI have created this as a useful subcategory of Category:Scientific journals.
Some editors will object to "fringe", but it is an important service to our readers to let them know that not all journals are created equal, and some specialize in publishing papers no mainstream journal would touch. It is important that the public be aware of this, since many cranks point to publication in a journal of some pretty wild speculations as "evidence" that something is "mainstream" or even "accepted fact". Such assertions, e.g. about the notorious research of Eugene Podkletnov, are generally highly misleading.---CH 19:31, 25 June 2006 (UTC)
