Category split
editAfter the above CFD which was seen as confusing and insensitive, I WP:BOLDly split most of the contents of this category to new sub-categories Category:Babylonian captivity and Category:Works based on the book of Esther. I moved some of the former parent categories to the first of those new sub-cats. I also added a few other articles which mention the history of Purim in modern times, and trust that other editors will also now find the category more useful for navigation. – Fayenatic London 10:44, 7 July 2015 (UTC)
- The second category was subsequently moved (without discussion) to Category:Works based on the Book of Esther, and (with discussion) to Category:Cultural depictions of Esther. – Fayenatic London 11:37, 29 December 2017 (UTC)
