editI'm going to subdivide this category as follows:
- Category:History of local government in London (early) (hundreds, ancient parishes)
Category:History of local government in London (1855–1889) (possibly replacing Category:Local government of the metropolis (1855-1889))- Category:History of local government in London (1889–1965) (all the various local government districts of 1894/1900-1965 and LCC-related)
Category:History of local government in London (1965–1986) (Greater London creation and GLC-related)
I'm not sure if the last category should be left as is, changed to (1965–2000) or maybe (1965–present). MRSC (talk) 10:39, 3 October 2009 (UTC)
- I don't think there are enough articles for the other two categories, so it is fine for now as it is. MRSC (talk) 11:13, 3 October 2009 (UTC)
