I'm trying to flesh out this idea, that there should be some sort of category for the collection of human remains for cultural purposes. Not to include insanity, medical/educational reasons, etc. Still not totally sure if there needs to be category distinctions for "taken to demonstrate mastery over the deceased" such as scalping vs. "to commemorate the deceased" like Tibetan bone trumpets or Aghori drinking-skulls. The current name Category:Human trophy collecting leans a little towards the former. I would appreciate any help in populating this category, refining the name, building up a primary article Human trophy collecting, etc. MatthewVanitas (talk) 01:28, 18 December 2009 (UTC)Reply
The more I tag death project articles and categories - this seems marginal (but includable) at Death project -it is more anthropology than it is death project alone SatuSuro14:06, 31 December 2009 (UTC)Reply
