Category talk:Hunter S. Thompson
Categorizing this category
editQuickly skimming through the category universe, I'm not seeing any other categories like this: ones devoted solely to one person, who's name appears in both the "subcategory" section of other categories and in the list of categorized articles. I think the three cats for this category make sense, this category pretty much only contains literature links, whereas it would be redundant to copy all of the Hunter S. Thompson article cats into his (this) cat, that would just clog things up (i.e., don't need to categorize this cat under [[Category:Suicides]]). --Tarnas 20:01, 19 July 2005 (UTC)
- Well, now I see others like it. :) --Tarnas
I realize this dilemma as I am currently writing a book that is razor edge between autobiography and flat out lunacy. They really need a "Off the Chart" or "off the wall" category. This would deal with the off the wall style in a more elegant fashion. Although Hunter Thompson did suicide, I read most of his books and any mention was in a joke. id est, I know he ended his life. Irrelevant! I believe his books should be in a "Off the Chart" category His artistic freedom and brilliant work should be with other similar books that currently are without a proper category. I think it might fly for more creative types. Any other suggestions? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Fotoking95446 (talk • contribs) 02:39, 22 January 2013 (UTC)
