I can't see that it makes any sense to categorise Bianconi as being 'Irish'. He received papers of naturalisation as a subject of the Crown. His categorisation is not appropriate if we are using terms such as Irish and Italian implying citizenship.Whether he felt himself to be Irish, British or Italian is another matter and not, I think, what is intended.
