Category talk:Japanese theologians

There must be more Japanese theologians than these two, although these two might be about the only two whose names are known outside Japan. If some one could find the names of some others and start articles on them, not only would it help to enlarge the article, it would help to give Wikipedia a more cultural spread. A suggestion

Well, my own research has drawn to my attention another Japanse theolgian - Masao Takenaka (died August 2006), who does not have an article in Wikipedia as of September 2009. Would any one care to start one? As at September 9 2009, the only reference to him is in Fumie.ACEOREVIVED (talk) 19:58, 9 September 2009 (UTC) This theologian is referred to in Taylor, J. (1988). There Taylor says (p639), after bemoaning how modern European and American theologians tend to ignore southern theologians:

"Even the work of Kitamori, Takenaka and Koyama of Japan, which culturally belongs to the north, is generally ignored".

Great! He now (as of March 2012) does have an article in Wikipedia and has his own name in the list. Many thanks to the Wikipedian who created this article - it is much appreciated, and will increase the number of theologians from around the world who have entries in Wikipedia.
