I have noticed that many individuals in this category were only born in British Palestine, but have nothing to do with it and have grown up and lived in Israel. I think they should be removed (e.g. Arik Einstein). Please share your thoughts. -- Ynhockey(Talk)09:18, 12 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
The original discussion was in 2007, and today I think the category should be deleted. It's inherently problematic, and will either:
List all of the Jews who were either born or lived in the pre-state area, which is completely useless, or:
List those Jews associated with that period, for example Avraham Stern, Yosef Trumpeldor, etc. This is inherently OR, because who will decide which people were really associated with the period?
