This should be Junglefowl, not Junglefowls
See Wikipedia:categorization Category names for lists of items should be plural. While "fowl" and it's derivatives are often used as collective nouns, we are listing individual species named "junglefowl".

- I don't buy it, even if you had explained it better. That last sentence just confuses things; clearly, if Rhode Island Reds are junglefowl as you claim, then two Rhode Island Reds are "two junglefowl" and not "two junglefowls". And clearly, in general, saying Sri Lankan Junglefowl refers to any number of them. The only real question is whether when you talk about Rhode Island Reds and Sri Lankan Junglefowl together, you would refer to these as "two junglefowls". - Okay then, how about just category:gallus, as I proposed on your talk page? it's pretty consistent with the majority of my genus categories so far, and makes the point about moving category:chicken breeds pretty much moot.Circeus 20:33, August 17, 2005 (UTC)
- It's up to you and anybody else who cares to chime in, as long as you think about it carefully. I' no expert at what it should be, just like to raise the questions at least. I did find some use of "junglefowls" and more use of "junglefowl" in the same context where some use the "s". One problem is that most people going down the categories wouldn't look for chickens under junglefowl; but a lot won't know "Gallus" either, but at least if they see unfamiliar family names, they might look until they find chickens.
