Explanation of my reversion
editThere is no single definition of limited-access road. Defining the category to be based on that is misleading, confusing and stupid. --SPUI (T - C) 20:12, 20 July 2006 (UTC)
New naming suggestion
edit"High speed roadways" isn't appropriate as per the 11 July deletion discussion (some rural roads in Texas have higher speed limits than interstates). How about "High-throughput roadways"? It captures the essential feature of these structures and is not biased to particular countries like "Freeways and motorways". --Oldak Quill 21:55, 20 July 2006 (UTC)
- That's somewhat neologistic and vague; there are surface roads with more throughput than freeways. As for the supposed bias, a Category:Elevators would include elevators even where they are called lifts. --SPUI (T - C) 22:04, 20 July 2006 (UTC)
