Previously deleted category/rationale for recreating

The following is from the Speedy Delete log, and was used to delete the category. I disagree with the rationale because 1) the discussion is two years old, and was in regards to the minimal category that existed at the time, 2) no current discussion was held to determine if the current category- as is now exists- should be deleted, 3) the original rationale was that a list of members exists in the article Sons of the American Revolution; however, that list came under fire for being too long and unnecessary, thus making the category much more relevant as a replacement for the unwanted list.
