Need new category: Paramilitary organizations in 19th c. US South
Latest comment: 16 years ago1 comment1 person in discussion
I'm going around in circles in this categorization thing. I want to create a new sub-category: "Paramilitary organizations in 19th c. US South", as they were very active and were instrumental in bringing the Democrats back to power in many states and ending Reconstruction. These included the White League of Louisiana and other states, formed 1874; the Red Shirts in Mississippi, South Carolina and North Carolina, and other states, formed in 1875, White Line organizations and rifle clubs. Can anyone help make that happen?--Parkwells (talk) 16:35, 10 April 2008 (UTC)Reply
