Automatically add category?

I've noticed that less than a half-dozen editors use the flying spaghetti monster userbox (which populates this category), but over 500 editors currently display the pastafarian userbox, which demonstrates its popularity … rather than force users to add
[[Category:Pastafarian Wikipedians|{{subst:PAGENAME}}]]
to their user page, the userbox templates could do it automagically … I may be opening a can of worms, but I decided to Be Bold and added "|usercategory = Pastafarian Wikipedians" to User:Xaosflux/UBX/User flying spaghetti monster.
Please note that this category has been deleted by WP:CFD and then restored by WP:DRV, so let's not go through that again. (This is what I meant by "can of worms". :-)
