Should Category:Dundee HSFP players be a sub-category here?

Currently Category:Dundee HSFP players is a sub-category here, but should it be given that DHSFP has not had only High School former pupils as players for many years, and a number of that category (eg Rob Wainwright) have no connection with the School?

Would it be worth adding some text to note that this category contains people who attended the predecessor institutions of the High School of Dundee (like the Grammar School and the Academy) such as Hector Boece and James Ivory? I am thinking of something similar to the text at Category:Alumni of the University of Dundee. The school traces its origins through the Grammar School to the 13th century, while the name High School of Dundee/Dundee High School only appeared in the 19th century, so I would agree with alumni of the early schools being included here, but I think some text might help to clarify this to anyone unfamiliar with the set up who wonders why an article on a person educated at Dundee Grammar School is appearing here.
