editNote that I am not a huge fan of this category name, even though I created it. I just wanted to factor all the "foobar programming language" articles from Category:Programming language topics. Truthfully, I think most of these articles are not very useful. You can take almost any idea in computer science and design a style of programming around it. Should we therefore have, for all X in computer science, not only a Wikipedia article "X", and not only an article for each significant programming language designed for X, but the article "X-oriented programming language"? That will get pretty irritating. It seems more useful to just note in article X that one can design a programming language around X, and describe that briefly. k.lee 04:33, 25 June 2006 (UTC)
