- Done - it's the plural of gens not of gente. User|Neddyseagoon 15:15, 19 November 2006 (UTC)

subcategorization
editSince Category:Roman gentes is a subcategory of Category:Ancient Roman families and Category:Prosopography of Ancient Rome, individual articles on the gentes don't need to be in these latter two categories. But categorization within Category:Roman gentes might be backwards. For example: Category:Aemilii, containing individuals of the gens, should be a subcategory of Category:Aemilia (gens) (or whatever we should call such a category: see discussion here). Or not. Just trying to sort this out. Cynwolfe (talk) 15:48, 1 August 2013 (UTC)
