"Retardation" is a word with some pretty nasty connotations (I know it's used clinically here, but I'm not sure this use is wholly necessary). The name of this page is also very vague - is it a list of every syndrome that involves developmental disability? As a primary symptom, or at all?
The title generally needs to be clearer, and I think we should replace "mental retardation" with "developmental disabilities," "cognitive disorders," "intellectual disabilities," or something similar (whichever best reflects the purpose of the page).
