This page is confusing. "United States Navy shipyards" would seem to be a list of federal shipyards, i.e., those owned and operated by the U.S. government. Yet plenty of the yards listed here are private companies. If this is meant to be a list of "U.S. Navy shipyards," it should be pared to include only government yards. Or if it is meant to be a list of yards that have built ships for the U.S. Navy, it could be renamed "Shipyards that have built ships for the U.S. Navy."
