editThe greyhound should be removed from this category as separate stud books are kept in Ireland, the UK, Australia and USA for registration. The numbers registered in these would be 30,000+ per annum in Ireland alone, greyhounds registered with just the kennel club would not be considered pure bred greyhounds but the respective racing organisations and therefore most greyhounds are not kennel club registered as they are primarily sporting animals and not show dogs.
