Argentina Super Liga

edit

I am just going with the flow here but i see that the name for the primera tier had been renamed as Argentine rathert than the literal translation of Argentina which if we use the case of the literal translation for the Mexico national team not being called the Mexican national football team then why are we degigating nationality and not name of nation when the literal translations hod that form. The Argentina Primera Division should be Argentina and not Argentine as nationality/born-citizenship has absolutely nothing to do with why it is called Argentina and not Argentine. Now I know there are those that when adhering to grammatical use feel that there is no other way, there is because the title is not what it may be referred to outside the country but what those that the organisation originates is referred to them as. In the States we do not say United Statesian. Can we have some respect for the names of the national institutions of the host rather than impose on others just because we can. You start messing with a title and it gets so convoluted that what it is is not what you end up with or some mongral expression that then you become the joke of the host. Has there been a discussion of this or has it been unilaterally changed?2605:E000:9149:8300:8456:C015:5821:6E1 (talk) 12:13, 15 June 2019 (UTC)Reply
