Events by Miami members outside of Miami?

Should these be a part of the WikiProject? For example, Miami sporting teams major events that occurred outside of Miami (Super Bowls, college bowl games, college world series). Or how about Miami officials involved in Washington scandals, controversies, or annual events in some other location, should those events become part of the Miami project? I am curious, because I saw some links to Miami super bowls from Dallas and California and Georgia, even though the event was in Florida. is there a WP:Rule on this that I do not know?
