History
editCenter Township was created in 1872. It takes its name from its location near the center of the county.[3]
Geography
editCenter Township covers an area of 36.62 square miles (94.8 km2) and contains no incorporated settlements. According to the USGS, it contains five cemeteries: Greenwood, Reformatory, Rosehill, Saint Francis and Saint James.
