The Central District of Shahinshahr County (Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان شاهینشهر)[a] is in Isfahan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Shahinshahr.[4]

History
editAfter the 2006 National Census, Borkhar and Meymeh County was divided into Borkhar County and Shahinshahr and Meymeh County,[b] the latter of which was divided into two districts of two rural districts each, with Shahinshahr as its capital.[4]

editAt the time of the 2011 census, the district's population was 175,886 people in 51,664 households.[5] The 2016 census measured the population of the district as 211,606 inhabitants in 66,338 households.[2]
