Chahak Rural District (Persian: دهستان چاهک)[3] is in Chahak District of Khatam County, Yazd province, Iran.[4] Its capital is the village of Chahak.[5]

Demographics

editAt the time of the 2006 National Census, the rural district's population (as a part of the Central District) was 5,374 in 1,309 households.[6] There were 6,025 inhabitants in 1,626 households at the following census of 2011.[7] The 2016 census measured the population of the rural district as 6,057 in 1,758 households. The most populous of its 91 villages was Chahak, with 2,947 people.[2]
After the census, the rural district was separated from the district in the formation of Chahak District.[4]
