History
editColfax Township was organized in 1871. It is named for Schuyler Colfax.[3]
Geography
editColfax Township covers an area of 34.97 square miles (90.6 km2) and contains no incorporated settlements. According to the USGS, it contains one cemetery, Olive Branch.
