Colin Blackshear (born; December 6, 1979) is an American filmmaker currently based in Atlanta, Georgia. With a background in Media Arts from California College of the Arts in Oakland/San Francisco, Blackshear has built a diverse career in the film industry.[1][2]

Blackshear is known for directing and producing the award-winning short film Second Nature for Sector 9 Skateboards, which earned accolades such as "Best Extreme Sports Film" at the Mammoth Film Festival, "Best Short Film" at the X-Dance Action Sports Film Festival, "Best Sports Film" at the Sonoma International Film Festival, and "Best Adventure Sport Film" at The 5 Point Film Festival in Carbondale, Colorado.

Throughout his career, Blackshear has collaborated with a range of notable creatives, including Ari Marcopoulos, Adam Kimmel, Caveh Zahedi, Sam Green, Daria Martin, and Rob Epstein.

Blackshear has worked across many departments in the film industry, including roles as a sound recordist, editor, director of photography, director, producer, and writer. He is currently developing projects for film and television, further showcasing his versatility and commitment to the craft.
