The series was first announced at San Diego Comic-Con on July 26, 2024.[3][4] That same day Adult Swim released a six minute clip of the show and announced the show airing in 2025.
Premise
editThe show follows two high school friends, Marshall and Frances, who reconnect and discover a new kind of drug that can allegedly cure all illnesses. In the process, they also uncover a conspiracy involving big pharma and the government to suppress all knowledge of said drug.[2]
Characters
edit- Marshall Kusso (voiced by Dave King) is the protagonist of the series and was friends with Frances in high school.
- Frances Applewhite (voiced by Emily Pendergast) is a pharmaceutical employee and Marshall's high school labmate and friend.
- Agents Copano (voiced by Joseph Lee Anderson) and Harrington (voiced by Martha Kelly) are best friends who work for the Drug Enforcement Administration. Kelly describes Harrington as "goofy but is very pragmatic about [her] job.", while Copano is described by Anderson as someone who is "big on conspiracy theories" and who likes to "connect dots when they probably should not be connected."[5]
Mike Judge will voice the show's antagonist.
