Common Square[2][3] is a hamlet on the B1190 road in the Washingborough civil parish of North Kesteven district of Lincolnshire, England. It is located 6 miles (9.7 km) southeast of Lincoln, 2 miles (3.2 km) northeast of Heighington, 6 miles (9.7 km) northwest of Bardney and 4 miles (6.4 km) northeast of Branston.[4]

editCommon Square[5] is home to a industrial estate which is on Five Mile Lane. One notable business is Marks Transport Group[6] that operate bus services in and around Lincoln and the surrounding areas. There is also a farm shop on Bardney Road. There are also residential houses located on Five Mile Lane and the B1190 road.
Transport
editCommon Square is served by the bus between Lincoln and Horncastle which runs via Washingborough, Bardney and Horsington. Historically, the area was also served by Five Mile House railway station[7] which was on the Lincolnshire Loop Line by the River Witham. It is now occupied by a footbridge to Fiskerton. As well as the Water Rail Way greenway between Lincoln and Boston.[8]
