History

edit

The club was founded on August 1, 2017. In 2018 entered the Tercera División B tournament, the fifth category of Chilean football.

In their debut in the Tercera División B, the team led by Edgardo Abdala finished the first round of Group 3 as leaders with 26 points, achieving eight victories, two draws, and one loss. The football experience of their president, Luis Chavarría, and head coach, Edgardo Abdala, along with the training of players at Huachipato, have been key to Comunal Cabrero's success. Despite a difficult season in 2019 and the hiatus due to the pandemic in 2020–2021, the club achieved the runner-up position and promotion to Tercera División A in 2022.
