Coulthard (/ˈkʊlθɑːrd/) is an English surname. It derives as an occupational surname, for somebody who works with horses, from Old English colt and hierde (herdsman).[1] Its variations include Coulthart, Colthart, Coltart, Coltherd, Colthert.[1]
