Damir Špoljarič (born 21 May 1988) is a Czech entrepreneur specializing in technology, real estate and aviation investments. He is also a professional pilot.[1][2][3]

Early life and education
editŠpoljarič was born on 21 May 1988.[4] He studied at the Industrial Secondary School of Electrical Engineering in V Úžlabině, majoring in information technology, and continued his studies (which he did not complete) at the University of Economics in Prague and a university focusing on psychology.[5]
Career
editIn 2006, at the age of 17, he founded the company Vshosting, which, after three years, became one of the largest companies in the field of internet project management and data center operations. Vshosting is expanding from the Czech Republic to Slovakia, Hungary, and newly also to Germany, aiming to continue this trend. The company is currently part of the Contabo Group, which is part of the KKR portfolio. Damir Špoljarič is still the CEO of the VSHosting group and an investor.[5]
In 2022, Špoljarič utilized his entrepreneurial experience to establish Gi21 Capital, through which he invested in dozens of other successful projects, such as Rohlik,[6] Keboola,[7] and Vrgineers.
