Dan Moore Jr. (born September 28, 1998) is an American professional football offensive tackle for the Pittsburgh Steelers of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Texas A&M and was drafted by the Steelers in the fourth round of the 2021 NFL draft.[1]

College career
editA 3-star offensive guard recruit, Moore committed to play college football at Texas A&M over offers from Colorado State, Mississippi State, Missouri, Oklahoma State, and Ole Miss, among others.[2] In his 4-year college career from 2017-2020, Moore played in 44 games with 37 starts. Moore played in 8 games as a true freshman in 2017, starting one at right tackle. He switched to left tackle going into his sophomore season, starting 36 consecutive games at left tackle from 2018-2020. He was named Second-Team All-SEC during his senior year in 2020, starting all 10 games at left tackle.[3][4]

Moore was drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the fourth round, 128th overall, of the 2021 NFL draft.[8] On May 18, 2021, Moore signed his four-year rookie contract with Pittsburgh.[9] He was named the Steelers starting left tackle to begin the 2021 season.
