editLocated in proximity to Espiritu Santo, Dany Island is part of a cluster that includes several small islands and islets, namely Araki, Elephant Island, Sakao, Lataroa, Lataro, Thion, Malohu, Malwepe, Malvapevu, Malparavu, Maltinerava, Oyster Island, Tangoa, and Bokissa.
Ecology
editDany Island is recognized for its extensive and vibrant marine life, housing a vast array of tropical fish within its coral reefs. The island serves as a nesting site for giant sea turtles. It hosts a diverse terrestrial ecosystem, including butterflies and hermit crabs.
