Dave Mullins is an American writer, director and animator and co-founder of the Los Angeles-based animation studio ElectroLeague,[1] best known for his animated short film, LOU (2017),[2] for which he received critical acclaim and was nominated for Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film at the 90th Academy Awards.[3] On January 23, 2024, Mullins received his second nomination in that same category, with the short film WAR IS OVER! Inspired by the Music of John and Ono (2023) at the 96th Academy Awards.[4]
