David Oliveira Santos Cavaleiro Brazão (born 1 November 2001) is a Portuguese professional football player who plays for Lithuanian A Lyga club FC Džiugas Telšiai.

Early life
editBrazão began playing youth football with Algés.[1] Afterwards he joined the Sporting CP Youth Academy, followed by the youth system of Belenenses.[1] In September 2017, he joined the Benfica youth system.[2] He then returned to Belenenses, before moving to Estoril Praia, followed by another return to Belenenses.[3] In July 2022, he joined the U23 side of Mafra.[4]
Club career
editBrazão began his senior with Belenenses, being part of their 2018/19 AF Lisboa 2nd division winning team, scoring three goals in six games across all competitions.[3] After he joined Estoril Praia, having a stint with the B team.[3] In August 2020, he returned to Belenenses.[3] In July 2021, he extended his contract with Belenenses for another year, for their first year in the Campeonato de Portugal, after having been promoted.[5] In 2022, he joined Sintrense, where he scored six goals and added three assists in 18 appearances,[6] while also earning multiple team of the week honours,[7]
In March 2023, he signed with Canadian Premier League club Pacific FC.[8][9] He made his debut for the club on April 20, 2023 in a Canadian Championship match against Cavalry FC, in a substitute appearance.[10] He scored his first goal on May 14 in a league match against York United FC.[11] In November 2023, David was released by Pacific FC, after having made 14 appearances and scored twice.[12]
In January 2024, he signed with Lithuanian club FC Dziugas.[13][14]
