Delainey Hayles (born 10 March 1999) is a British actress. She is known for her role as Claudia in the AMC television series Interview with the Vampire since 2023.

Hayles has appeared in various television series, short films and stage productions, most recently portraying Lucy Pevensie on stage in The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (2022).
Early life
editDelainey Hayles was born on 10 March 1999 in England.[1]
As a child, she would reenact and film Disney Channel episodes with her younger sister, sparking her passion for acting.[2]
Career
editFilm and television
editHayles launched her professional on-screen acting career in 2019 with Something In The Closet, a BFI funded short film directed by Nosa Eke, where she played the character Asha.[3][4]
In 2021, She played Billie in the TV miniseries Too Close, which was directed by Susan Tully and based on the 2018 novel written by Clara Salaman.[4]
Hayles played the part of Billie Faber for six episodes in Holby City (2022).[4][5] That same year, she appeared in the short film Birds as Maya.[6]
Since 2023, Hayles has played Claudia in the AMC television series Interview with the Vampire (2022-present), replacing Bailey Bass, who played the character in the first season.[4][7]
Theatre
editIn 2018, Hayles performed with The Andrew Lloyd Webber Bridge Company in Sticky, at the Southwark Playhouse, where she played the character of Keira.[4][8]
In 2022, Hayes starred as Lucy Pevensie in The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, directed by Michael Fentiman, at the Gillian Lynne Theatre in London’s West End.[4][9]
