Desulfuromonas is a Gram negative bacterial genus from the family of Desulfuromonadaceae.[1][2][3] Desulfuromonas can reduce elemental sulfur to H2S.[4] Desulfuromonas occur in anoxic sediments and saline lakes.[5]
