Devart Group is a software product company headquartered in Prague, Czech Republic. It specializes in database management software, application lifecycle management (ALM), and data connectivity solutions.

History

Devart Group was established by Dmytro Nikolaenko in 1997. That year, the company introduced its first data connectivity technology that provided direct access to databases and other data sources for multi-platform application development.[1] By 2002, the product line included a suite of high-performance data providers for major databases and cloud applications.[2][3]

Also, the company introduced Python database connectors, ODBC data connectors, SSIS components for databases and cloud applications, and other data access products aimed at simplifying connectivity for data-centric applications and websites.[2][3]

In 2003, Devart Group became a Silver Partner in the Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN) Specialized program.[4][5]

In 2005, the company launched standalone database management tools for Oracle and MySQL.

In 2014, Devart Group introduced a cloud-based platform to facilitate data integration and backup across various database systems and cloud databases.[6]

In 2020, Devart Groupwas listed in Capterra's 'Top 20 Database Management Software'.[7]

In 2021, Devart Group received the 'Visual Studio Magazine Reader's Choice Awards 2021' in 'Databases and Data Development and Modeling – Bronze' by Visual Studio Magazine.[8]

For five years in a row, from 2019, the company has received awards from DBTA.[9][10][11][12] Also, Between 2019 and 2023, Devart received several recognitions from G2, including 'High Performer', 'Best Support', and various 'Leader' awards.[13]

In 2023, TechRadar named Devart Group's Studio MySQL the 'Best database design software of 2023'.[14][15]
