Plot summary
editThobela Mpayipheli is a former KGB agent who hangs up his boots to take care of his adopted son Pakamile. When he is killed, Thobela has only one thing on his mind: to do justice and hunt down all the child torturers across the country. Inspector Griessel, a notorious alcoholic, takes charge of the investigation but he must also deal with his family problems and with Christine, a recently met prostitute who fears for her child.
Adaptations
editThe Devil's Peak was adapted in 2023 as a five episode TV series for M-Net, with Hilton Pelser starring as Griessel.[2]
