The 2022–23 Vodacom Ligue 1 was the 63rd season of the Linafoot, the top-tier football league in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The season started on October 8, 2022, but was suspended on December 24, 2022, due to financial issues. The season was later officially canceled on April 28, 2023.[1][2]
Teams
editTwenty teams were scheduled to compete in the season: the top 16 teams from the previous season and four promoted teams from the 2021–22 Linafoot Ligue 2 – Céleste FC, AC Kuya Sport, Blessing FC, Étoile du Kivu.
